Collaborative robots are one of the hottest trends in industrial automation. Universal Robots, based in Odense, Denmark, presents this year a smaller version of its industrial robots, the UR3, which is desgned to work along humans. Competing with Universal Robots are startups like Rethink Robotics, but UR seems to have a much more advanced technology platform.
